I took a picture for a friend who wanted to be photographed beside a banana tree because he had never seen one- he was so adorable that I decided to keep him and make him my husband! ^^
Ever since then, it's almost an instant exclamation when friends from non tropic country visits- "that's a banana tree!" I would say and it never fails to amaze the both of us.
