3 years ago, I shared this verse on my Instagram and just a couple of days ago, someone re-posted it...
Psalm 51:12 (NIV)
Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
Although I don't remember what I was feeling back then...this came back so timely to sums up my current state of mind- the turmoil in my head to find a reason to stay alive because many times in a day,
I can't see the beauty in this thing called life.
It's simply disappointing to see myself in a deteriorating state and it's alarming how evil the mind can drag a soul.

I re-read the entire verse again and it continues...
"You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise."
-Psalm 51:16-17
For this verse to pop up...I know it can only be God sustaining my life
...despite having such depressing down days.
I hope this verse will encourage you to push through, with God.
