Difficult dance!

Happy New Year 2025!

I spent Christmas and New Years in Melb with my sister and her family and it was such a good change- being with family during the holidays...opening presents under the Christmas tree, shopping on Boxing Day and kept eating, drinking and being merry!

Those good times are always short lived and here I am, back at home, finishing up laundries and trying not to procrastinate with the deadlines.

Jan 7: The first day back at the gym- I did some foam rolling, stretching and was contemplating on doing some squats with the barbell after but of course I didn't want to shock my body...so, I went straight to incline machine and walked for 40mins.

10mins in and I'm already panting and with that, I knew it's time to dance.

I never go to the gym without my earphones because I know certain songs/tunes will help me finish the cardio workout I need.

While I was walking back home- It came to mind what I do in the gym = applies in the real real life.

Dance...and then it will feel a lot less difficult.

It says here in the Bible that the people right at the front, leading the army were praisers!

2 Chronicles 20:21

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:

“Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.”

And that's a good reminder for me that I have to you start breaking into a song of praise and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.
